Full-time Tag GmbH employees work onsite at a client office as leased employees. Tag GmbH pays its employees a salary comparable to what full-time client employees are earning in a similar role. Tag GmbH is responsible for withholding various taxes from the employee’s gross salary, including the German wage tax, solidarity surcharge on wage tax, church tax, and social security taxes.

Tag is responsible for declaring the related taxes, summarizing tax returns, and paying them to the responsible German tax and social security authorities monthly. In addition to the employee taxes Tag GmbH is obligated to withhold, Tag is responsible for paying a matching amount for the several German social security taxes, including Pension Insurance, Unemployment Insurance, Compulsory Health Insurance, Compulsory Care Insurance, and Compulsory Accident Insurance.

Tag GmbH employees will receive six weeks paid vacation, and paid holidays for all days given to client’s employees at the office in which the employee works. Vacation time must be scheduled in advance with the permission of client management.
